Terms of Service

Last updated October 24, 2026

The short version. City Sewer Projects reads public city records and shows you the sewer work coming up. We work hard to get it right, but the information comes from public documents and our estimates, so check it before you rely on it. Use it for your own business, don't copy or resell it, and contact city staff lawfully and respectfully. Monthly plans can be cancelled any time; yearly plans are refundable in their first 30 days. The full terms below are what count.

1. These terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and City Sewer Projects ("City Sewer Projects", "we", "us"), covering your use of citysewerprojects.com, the dashboard, our emails and anything else we provide (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

The Service is for businesses. You must be at least 18. If you use it for a company, you confirm you can accept these Terms for that company, and "you" includes it.

2. What the Service is, and what it isn't

We read public records that cities and counties publish, such as council agendas and minutes, contracts, budgets and capital plans, and show sewer inspection, cleaning, rehab and equipment work that may be coming up, with the people and companies the records name.

  • It comes from public records and our reading of them. Records can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and we can misread them. Dates marked as estimates (for example from equipment's typical service life) are our estimates, not the city's plans.
  • Cities change their plans. A contract may be renewed, cancelled, combined or bought another way. We don't promise any project will go to bid, when, at what value, or that you will win it.
  • We're not a government agency and aren't affiliated with, endorsed by or speaking for any city, county or other public body.
  • It isn't advice. Nothing in the Service is legal, procurement, financial or bidding advice. Always follow the city's official solicitation and rules.

3. Your account

You sign in with a link we email you. Keep access to that email secure: anyone who can open it can sign in as you. Give us accurate details, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. Each account is for one person; don't share it. Paid plans cover the number of people shown on the pricing page (State: up to 3 people; Region: up to 15 people; National: your whole team).

4. The free plan

The free plan shows the opportunities in one state closing in the next 3 months and the city contacts described on the pricing page. You pick the state when you sign up. We may change what the free plan includes, or limit or end it, and will tell you by email or in the dashboard when we do.

5. Paid plans, billing and cancellation

  • Price. Paid plans show opportunities 3 to 24 months ahead in the states your plan covers, at the price on the pricing page when you subscribe, plus any applicable taxes.
  • Billing. Plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically for the same period until you cancel. You authorize us and our payment provider to charge your payment method each period. Yearly plans may instead be paid by invoice, due on the terms stated on it.
  • Cancelling. You can cancel any time by emailing hello@citysewerprojects.com from your account's address. A monthly plan stays active until the end of the month you've paid for and isn't refunded for part of a month. A yearly plan cancelled within 30 days of its start (or renewal) is refunded in full; after that it stays active to the end of its year without a refund.
  • Price changes. We'll tell you at least 30 days before a price change applies to you. It takes effect at your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
  • Failed payments. If a payment fails and isn't fixed within 14 days, we may move your account to the free plan.
  • Exclusive territories are agreed separately in writing; that agreement adds to these Terms.

6. How you may use the data

While your account is active, you may use what the Service shows you for your own company's sales and bidding, including copying it into your own CRM or spreadsheets for your team. You may not:

  • sell, resell, license, publish or share the data, or any substantial part of it, outside your company, or use it to build a competing product or database;
  • scrape, crawl or bulk-download the dashboard, or access it by automated means other than tools we provide;
  • share your sign-in, or let more people use a plan than it covers;
  • interfere with the Service, probe or break its security, or reverse engineer it;
  • use the Service for anything unlawful, deceptive or harmful.

7. Contacting city staff

The city contacts we show are public employees named in public records, with the work email and phone those records give. You may use them only to contact people about work relevant to their public role. You are responsible for your outreach and must follow the laws that apply to it, including the CAN-SPAM Act and state email laws, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and do-not-call rules, and any rules a city sets for contact during a procurement. Many cities limit contact with staff once a solicitation is open; it's your job to know and follow those rules. Stop contacting anyone who asks you to, and don't harass anyone. We may remove a contact at that person's request.

8. Our rights in the Service

The underlying public records belong to the bodies that publish them. The Service itself, including our selection, analysis, summaries, estimates, compilations, software and design, belongs to us and our licensors and is protected by law. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it as set out above while your account is active, and nothing more. If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them freely.

9. Other websites

The Service links to city websites and documents and other sites we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content, availability or practices.

10. Disclaimers

The Service and all information in it are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, timeliness and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure. You use the information at your own risk and should check it against the city's own records before relying on it.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows: (a) we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, business, contracts, bids or data, even if we were told they were possible; and (b) our total liability for all claims relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose and one hundred US dollars ($100). Some places don't allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

12. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your outreach to anyone you found through it, your breach of these Terms, or your breach of any law or anyone else's rights.

13. Suspension and ending

You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing hello@citysewerprojects.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or puts the Service or others at risk, and will tell you why unless the law or security prevents it. We may also stop offering the Service with reasonable notice, and if we do, we'll refund the unused part of any prepaid plan. Sections 6 to 8 and 10 to 16 continue after an account ends.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. We'll post the new version here with its date, and for a change that matters, tell account holders by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new Terms apply; if you don't accept them, cancel before they take effect.

15. Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute arises, email us at hello@citysewerprojects.com first; we'll both try in good faith to settle it within 30 days. If we can't, it will be decided only in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction, except that either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court. To the extent the law allows, claims may be brought only individually, not as part of a class or representative action.

16. Everything else

  • These Terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service, together with any written agreement for an exclusive territory or invoice.
  • If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest still applies, and that part is applied as far as the law allows.
  • If we don't enforce a right, we haven't given it up.
  • You may not transfer these Terms without our written consent; we may transfer them to a company that takes over the Service, including a company we form to run it.
  • We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
  • We may send you notices by email to your account's address; you can send notices to hello@citysewerprojects.com.
